Role Summary
As a Project Control Professional, you will be responsible for overseeing and managing all aspects of project controls, including cost and schedule management. You will ensure that project performance aligns with strategic objectives, contractual requirements, and industry best practices, while leading continuous improvement and talent development initiatives.
Key Responsibilities
- Lead and manage project controls functions including cost engineering, estimating, planning, scheduling, and analysis.
- Establish and maintain project control systems, tools, and reporting frameworks.
- Monitor project performance and provide accurate forecasts and variance analysis.
- Collaborate with engineering, procurement, contracts, and construction teams to ensure integrated project delivery.
- Develop and implement criteria and systems for effective project controls.
- Support project setup, execution, and closeout phases with robust control mechanisms.
- Drive continuous improvement and capacity building across project teams.
- Supervise and mentor project control personnel.
- Ensure compliance with internal standards and external regulations.
- Communicate project control insights effectively to stakeholders and senior management.
Qualifications & Requirements
- Bachelors degree in Business, Quantity Surveying, Engineering, Construction Management, Supply Chain Management, or a related field from an accredited university.
- Minimum 10 years of experience in project controls (cost and schedule) on large-scale projects, including overall responsibility for project controls.
- Proven expertise in cost engineering, estimating, planning, scheduling, and analysis.
- Experience in establishing systems and criteria for project control activities.
- Strong working knowledge of engineering, procurement, contracts, construction, and start-up processes.
- Demonstrated involvement in continuous improvement and talent development.
- Strong management, supervisory, and personnel administration skills.
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
- Experience working internationally; Saudi nationals are encouraged to apply.
