Architectural Engineer - MRF 25081

Job Description

Maintains daily diaries of events associated with the work onsite by using the HANMI GLOBAL-related form.

Supervises his subordinate staff members in the execution of their responsibilities.

Monitors, reviews, comments, and reports on progress payments, quality control, and safety.

Logs and monitors all Contractors' submittals (correspondence and shop drawings) to assure timely response, and processes change and field orders for review by his RE.

Prepares necessary draft correspondence for final approval by the RE

Assists as applicable, with pre-tender and pre-construction activities for contracts relative to his site(s) and provides input for all change orders and claims analysis.

Holds daily meetings with the contractor's representative

Prepares the Weekly Progress Reports by using the HANMI GLOBAL related form.

Assists the RE in preparing the Monthly Progress Reports.

Reviews and approves the As Built Drawings for final approval by RE

Assists in preparing the Final Acceptance and Completion Report. 

Reviews and presents the Contractor's Valuations

Payments for final approval by RE Witnesses and supervises commissioning and start-up activities. Studies and gives comments on the Contractor's Claims.

Review the drawings, general and conditions of the contract thoroughly. Any discrepancies found shall be brought to the notice the RE

Review the Contractor's CPM Program Schedule of drawings, review the proposed material procurement schedule, and discuss the comments with the RE/Q.S. for further action.

Review the proposed materials, samples and literature against the contracts, specifications , drawings, and B.O.Q. Discuss and finalize the comments in consultation with the RE.
Review all other disciplines' requirements related to his
work.
Review the shop drawings against contract drawings, specifications, B.O.Q., and approved materials. Make sure that the shop drawings are prepared keeping in mind the approved materials and are detailed as per the manufacturer's standards and recommended details.
Resolve the coordination problems raised by other fellow engineers during the checking of their shop drawings.
Help other engineers to check their disciplines with their discipline drawings.
Discuss and resolve all the queries with the Contractor regarding his discipline.
Discuss and resolve all the queries raised by the Contractor regarding approved materials installation and detailing.
Following the approval of the materials and shop drawing review, approve the installation mockups at the site or at the material source.
Review and approve the shop drawings submitted by the contractor.
