Role Summary

As a Testing & Commissioning (T&C) Engineer, you will be responsible for managing and executing all testing, commissioning, and handover activities across the project lifecycle. You will ensure systems are fully functional, compliant with specifications, and ready for operational use, while coordinating with multidisciplinary teams and stakeholders.

Key Responsibilities

  • Plan, manage, and execute testing and commissioning activities for various systems.
  • Develop and implement T&C procedures and protocols.
  • Coordinate with contractors, consultants, and project teams to ensure readiness for commissioning.
  • Oversee system integration, performance testing, and troubleshooting.
  • Ensure compliance with project specifications, safety standards, and regulatory requirements.
  • Manage documentation for handover and project closeout.
  • Support continuous improvement initiatives and capacity building on-site.
  • Facilitate interface management across disciplines and stakeholders.
  • Provide technical support and guidance during commissioning phases.
  • Prepare detailed reports and communicate progress to management.

Qualifications & Requirements

  • Bachelors degree in Engineering from an accredited university.
  • Minimum 10 years of experience in large-scale projects, including at least 5 years as a T&C and handover specialist.
  • Experience in government, semi-government, or international private sector construction projects.
  • Strong knowledge of site construction, engineering, project controls, EHS, contracts, handover, and quality.
  • Deep understanding of all phases of T&C operations and jobsite management.
  • Proven track record in implementing continuous improvement and talent development.
  • Experience in interface management across complex project environments.
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
