WHAT YOU'LL DO
As a key member leadership team, the Procurement Manager assumes leadership role in building, implementing, and overseeing all operational systems, processes, workflows, and procedures.
In accordance with policies and procedures in manage and control Procurement systems and procedures to continually improve the supply chain process, ensure cost effective contracting of products and services, and promote compliance internally with established standards.
Report directly to: Procurement Director, & Report indirectly to: CFO
TEAM MANAGEMENT & LEADERSHIP:
- Exemplify HANs Standards of Business Conduct and HANs Values through all decisions and actions.
- Leading/working with the Procurement team, Project team, Marketing team, OPS, Sales, Chefs, and others Depts to ensure alignment around Business and Team goals.
- Coaching and building a strong Procurement team and leverages the strength of each team member via smart and effective work plans / KPIs and via engagement activities.
- Balancing individual and team workloads to maximize and accelerate progress versus pre-aligned priorities.
- Developing strategies, policies, procedures, and overall team to optimize value of the entire function.
PROCUREMENT MANAGEMENT
- Formulating and executing the Strategic Sourcing Strategy for HAN.
- Planning and executing regular strategic sourcing reviews to always ensure low cost /best value supply.
- Strategic sourcing reviews to include industry scans /assessments technology / innovation trends, competitor checks, suppliers business strategies, and plans.
- Understanding and using commodity movements and trends to the advantage of HAN.
- Understanding general cost structure of Construction, equipment, food, packaging, and non-food / non-packaging items & services to enable cost optimization discussions.
- Cost forecasting and action planning to offset any forecasted unfavorable impact.
PARTNERS RELATIONSHIP MANAGEMENT:
- Managing the business relationships with suppliers and other partners covering the following key expectations geared toward Supplier Self-Managed Excellence.
- Fully understand all the business of HAN and Procurement Plan to Win and communicate to key partners (including other departments and suppliers) to ensure full alignment at all levels
- Helping build strong relationships and foster teamwork among functions, suppliers, and other Dept. heads via regular business reviews.
- Providing support to initiatives of other functions within HAN (i.e. Marketing, Development, Operations,) to achieve maximum business performance
- Perform other tasks as assigned by BOM
WHAT'S IDEAL TO US
- Bachelors Degree in logistics, procurement, supply chain management, business management, foreign trade, or a relevant field. Masters degree preferred.
- At least 3 years experience in the same position
- Computer Skills: MS Office (Word, Excel, Power Point, Outlook)
- Excellent communication, listening, negotiation skills.
- Excellent analysis, risk management skills.
- Ability to manage multiple priorities within the deadline and prioritize effectively, while delivering high-quality work.
- Solution oriented with a high sense of ownership, quality, attention to detail, accuracy, efficiency, and meeting tight deadlines.
- Experience working in Hospitality, F&B industry is a plus.
- Follow deadlines, integrity, disciplined, willing to learn and can-do attitude.
