Group Accounting & Tax Consultant

ABOUT THE ROLE:

This role is for a Group Accounting and Tax Consultant (Manager equivalent) within the Hoang An Nhien Group (HAN Group).

The candidate will take ownership of the delivery of group accounting and tax reports.

The role will involve managing a portfolio of multiple legal entities of HAN Group across a broad range of industries

The role will involve working on a breadth of advisory projects across all technical areas of VAS, IFRS Group reporting and tax guidance for the Restructuring Project of HAN Group.

This is 1-year full time contractor working on-site.

WHAT YOU'LL DO:

• Oversight of activities of Operational Accounting, Bookkeeping and Tax teams of HAN Group.
• Handling preparation and improvement of SOPs (Standard Operation Processes) of Operational Accounting, Treasury, Bookkeeping and Tax teams of HAN Group.
• Participate in discussing accounting and tax topics related to all legal entities of HAN group.
• Conducting regular internal reviews of tax accounting reports in accordance with the latest VAS regulations and local tax jurisdictions.
• Conducting regular internal reviews of management accounting and treasury reports.
• Conducting regular internal reviews of payroll reports and PIT review
• Handling preparation and improvement of SOPs of payroll and PIT matters.
• Collaborate and support functional teams to build consolidated reports on accrual basis.
• Collaborate with multiple stakeholders to set up ERP for Treasury, Accounting & Tax functions.
• Collaborate with multiple stakeholders to set up accounting software
• Provide advice on bookkeeping technical solutions and solutions for tax matters.
• Liaison with the tax team to do tax review periodically, not limited to PIT, CIT, WHT, VAT and others.
• In-charge of writing training materials and organize necessary trainings for accounting & tax functions.
• Responsibility for adherence with the firms risk management procedures and some administrative tasks.

WHAT YOU WILL NEED TO SUCCEED:

• You possess a degree in Finance and Accounting.
• You have prior experience in a similar role within the same industry or Finance and Accounting Manager experience in a top-tier consulting firm (ideally between 4-7 years at manager level).
• You have proven advisory and compliance experience across tax law, VAS, IRFS and labor law.
• Able to communicate complex technical issues in a straightforward and practical way to accounting and non-accounting specialists.
• You are result oriented, and organized, detailed oriented, can prioritize effectively, and multi-task to deliver results in a fast-paced work environment.
• Proficient in Microsoft Office applications (Excel, Word, PowerPoint etc.).
• Structured, solution-oriented and independent way of working.
• Experience with consolidation software, accounting software such as Vacom, Fast, Misa, MS365.
• You possess excellent interpersonal and communication skills, with the ability to build relationships with different stakeholders.
