The Growth Markets (GM) social media area lead is responsible for owning the strategy and execution of Area/country-level social media activity with the goal of increasing brand awareness, driving target stakeholder engagement, and positioning Avanade as the leading Microsoft expert in the market. A key part of this role is working with the GM leadership team, Avanades GM Leading Voices community and GM Marketing professionals, providing best practice guidance and implementation support for social media activity, ensuring that it is activated in a coordinated and consistent way, reflecting the global strategy and practices, to maximize impact and results. The role is also responsible for measuring/evaluating GM social media activity results, making recommendations for continuous improvement and providing feedback to the global team, to inform the broader social media strategy.
Key Responsibilities:
Coordinating with the area priorities, social media needs, plans, and objectives, ensuring alignment with the global social media Center of Excellence strategy and guidelines. Working with the GM Marketing Lead and the area internal/external communications lead, the GM Social Media Lead will be responsible for creating timely content in support of local news events, activities and other timely opportunities to transmit Avanades voice/insights/thought leadership etc. across the GM social media platforms. They will also be responsible for managing content and reporting for our employee advocacy and social promotion tool. Monitoring the performance and reputation of the brand on social media platforms, using data and analytics to measure the impact and ROI of the regional social media efforts. Skills and Qualifications:
Bachelors degree in Marketing, Communications, or related field. 5+ years of experience in social media marketing, preferrably in the APAC / Australia region Experience in managing social media campaigns and content calendars. Strong understanding of social media marketing tools and techniques. Excellent written and verbal communication skills. Strong organizational and project management skills. Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
Education: Bachelors degree in business, marketing, communications, branding, social media, public relations or related discipline
