Job Summary
Assists with basic repairs, maintenance, and installations of Data Center infrastructure. Collaborates with others to resolve basic incidents and to keep the Data Center running smoothly.
Responsibilities
Facility/Infrastructure Maintenance
- Performs site inspections and monitors the building and Data center alarms
- Performs basic preventative maintenance on site infrastructure (e.g. changing filters on air conditioning units), or manages vendors
- Assists more senior staff in repairs and corrective maintenance
Site Administration
- Completion of site logs and data gathering for basic permits, such as MOPs and scripts
Incident Management
- Assists more senior staff with responding to all on-site incidents and acts as directed
Work Orders
- Completes basic work requests and assists with circuit installations
Collaboration
- May work internally or with other departments to increase efficiencies and reduce potential failure scenarios
Additional Projects
- Assists more senior staff with infrastructure projects
Qualifications
- Fresh graduates are welcome
- At least a Higher Nitec in an Engineering/IT field
- Willingness to work on rotating shifts
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
