We are looking for experienced Business Development Rep to help advise our Financial Services & Insurance (FSI) customers on how to best adopt and leverage the value of AWS technology.

This is an ideal role for someone with deep experience in the FSI industry, expert knowledge of financial services applications and infrastructure and a solid understanding of the transformational value cloud technologies can bring. In this role, you will serve as a core member of the Worldwide Financial Services team, and play a key role in executing our go-to-market strategy. You will engage with customers to determine business needs, identify opportunities and issues, and develop related technical solutions and value propositions leveraging the power of AWS cloud technology.

Key job responsibilities
- Drive revenue and market share in blockchain cryptocurrency industry vertical.
- Develop and execute against a comprehensive account/territory plan.
- Create and articulate compelling value propositions around AWS services.
- Accelerate customer adoption and maintain a robust sales pipeline & reporting.
- Work with partners to extend reach and drive adoption.
- Possess the technical ability to explain (not implement) Cloud Computing, infrastructure solutions (Server, Storage, DC Services) and Internet architectures (firewalls, load balancers, etc).
- Develop long-term strategic relationships with key accounts.


The right individual will leverage FSI Industry expertise, architecture experience, and customer-facing skills to be a "trusted advisor" to customers. They will be able to facilitate relationships with senior executive stakeholders, as well as easily interact with and give guidance to technology experts, software developers, IT professionals, and system architects.

BASIC QUALIFICATIONS

- 6 + years of technology related business development experience.
- A technical sells background with solutions and IT services to IT industry, SMB customers or startups, with direct field experience in working with enterprise accounts across your assigned territory.
- Strong verbal and written communications skills.
- Proficient in written and spoken Chinese

PREFERRED QUALIFICATIONS

- BA/BS degree required. Masters or MBA a plus
- Business Development experience with virtualization/infrastructure solutions a bonus
