Your Role and Responsibilities
In this role, youll work in our IBM Client Innovation Center (CIC), where we deliver deep technical and industry expertise to a wide range of public and private sector clients around the world.​ These centers offer our clients locally based skills and technical expertise to drive innovation and adoption of new technology.
Your primary responsibilities include:

  • Leads a project team in delivering custom development solutions, or for leading a project team in the Maintenance and Support of an application or set of applications using the appropriate business measurements and terms and conditions for the project according to project charter or contract.
  • This specialty has overall performance responsibility for managing scope, cost, schedule, and contractual deliverables, manages project plan, budget, structure, schedule and staffing requirements, including IBM and Client employees and 3rd party vendors.
  • They are responsible for managing all project resources, including subcontractors, and for establishing an effective communication plan with the project team and the Client, provide day to day direction to the project team and regular project status to the Client.


Required Technical and Professional Expertise

  • Fluent in Japanese language (speaking, as well as reading and writing kanji)
  • Able to translate English to Japanese and vice versa
  • Ability to estimate an effort and all impacts of proposed solution
  • Very good communication skills; analytical and creative problem solving skills
  • Ability to cooperate and take business and solution lead in multi-vendor teams
  • Amenable to work on a client-based schedule (dayshift, mid-shift, night-shift) and in any IBM location in Quezon City (Eastwood and/or UP Ayala Technohub) or Cebu.


Preferred Technical and Professional Expertise

  • JLPT N1-N3 certification is preferred
