    HAVE WHAT IT TAKES TO BE OUR WEBMASTER?

    • Strong hands-on experience with WordPress, including Headless WordPress and Gutenberg.
    • Proficiency in HTML5, CSS3, and basic PHP development.
    • Experience with Figma and/or Adobe Creative Suite for UI/UX design and mockups.
    • Strong understanding of: SEO best practices, CRO (Conversion Rate Optimization), WCAG accessibility standards, responsive web design, cross-browser compatibility, website QA testing
    • Experience managing website forms, plugins, integrations, and CMS updates.
    • Familiarity with website analytics and performance reporting tools is highly preferred.
    • Knowledge of GDPR and website privacy/compliance standards is an advantage.
    • Exceptional attention to detail and quality assurance mindset.
    • Strong project management, prioritization, and multitasking skills.
    • Excellent troubleshooting and problem-solving abilities.
    • Ability to work independently and collaboratively within a remote or virtual team environment.
    • Adaptable and able to thrive in a fast-paced, rapidly changing environment.
    • Self-motivated with a proactive approach to continuous improvement.

    DAY IN THE LIFE OF A WEBMASTER
    (REMOTE WORK EDITION!)

    Website Management and Maintenance

    • Manage and maintain company websites and subdomains using WordPress, including Headless WordPress and Gutenberg.
    • Ensure all website content, pages, forms, links, and integrations are accurate, updated, and functioning properly.
    • Execute website updates with a high level of accuracy and attention to detail.
    • Manage and complete website update request tickets within agreed timelines.
    • Publish and maintain articles, landing pages, and custom post types as requested.
    • Conduct regular QA testing across websites and subdomains to ensure optimal functionality and performance.
    • Troubleshoot and resolve website-related technical issues, bugs, and integration concerns.

    UI/UX Website Optimization

    • Develop UI/UX page mockups and wireframes using Figma or Adobe Creative Suite.
    • Create and optimize landing pages that align with brand guidelines and conversion goals.
    • Identify usability, responsiveness, and user journey issues and recommend improvements.
    • Conduct page layout and content adjustments based on user behavior, feedback, and analytics.
    • Collaborate closely with Digital Marketing and cross-functional teams to improve website experience and engagement.

    SEO, CRO & Accessibility

    • Implement SEO best practices including on-page optimization, metadata management, site structure improvements, and performance enhancements.
    • Support Conversion Rate Optimization (CRO) initiatives through audits, testing, and recommendations.
    • Conduct monthly website performance, SEO, and CRO audits and provide actionable insights.
    • Ensure compliance with WCAG accessibility standards and digital accessibility best practices.
    • Monitor website health, responsiveness, cross-browser compatibility, and mobile optimization.

    Technical & Front-End Development

    • Update and maintain HTML, CSS, and PHP components across websites and subdomains.
    • Ensure all website integrations, plugins, APIs, and third-party tools are functioning effectively.
    • Maintain strong standards for responsive design, website speed, and browser compatibility.
    • Stay updated on emerging web technologies, SEO trends, accessibility standards, and industry best practices.

    Additional Support

    • Assist with digital marketing initiatives and other web-related projects as required.
