Overview
TalentFish is casting a line for a Workday Senior HRIS Analyst. This is a Direct Hire role in Chicago, IL (Hybrid – 2 days/week onsite).
This position exists to serve as the primary Workday subject matter expert for a growing Chicago-based organization, owning system configuration, reporting, and process optimization across multiple HR functional areas while enabling smarter, data-driven people decisions across the business.
What You Bring to the Role.
Ideal Experience
- 5+ years of hands-on Workday configuration and support experience across Core HCM, Compensation, Benefits, Absence, and Talent.
- Demonstrated proficiency building advanced and matrix reports, calculated fields, and dashboards within Workday.
- Deep understanding of HR data, HR operations, and Workday platform best practices.
- Strong interpersonal and communication skills with the ability to translate technical concepts for non-technical business partners.
- Workday Pro certification(s) strongly preferred.
What You'll Do.
Skills Used in this Position
- Own configuration and ongoing maintenance of Workday business processes, security, and notifications spanning Core HCM, Compensation, Benefits, Absence, and Talent modules.
- Design and maintain advanced reports, matrix reports, calculated fields, and dashboards that enable data-driven HR and business decision-making.
- Partner with HR, Total Rewards, and Talent Acquisition stakeholders to translate business requirements into scalable Workday solutions.
- Lead execution of annual cyclical processes within Workday including Open Enrollment, Merit and Compensation cycles, and Performance Management.
- Champion data integrity through proactive audits, mass data loads, and disciplined security role administration.
- Identify manual or inefficient workflows and propose system-driven improvements that increase accuracy and scale with organizational growth.
Compensation Information
The expected salary range for this position is $90,000-120,000 per year, depending on experience and qualifications. This role also qualifies for comprehensive benefits such as health insurance, 401(k), and paid time off. TalentFish is committed to pay transparency and equal opportunity.
