Overview
TalentFish is casting a line for a Senior Optime Application Coordinator Epic/Workday Consultant. This is a Contract or Contract-to-Hire role in Remote (U.S.-based).
The reason this position exists is to lead the implementation, optimization, and support of Epic Optime and/or Workday solutions within a digital health environment. The ideal candidate will bridge clinical and operational workflows with technology to ensure effective use of systems that enhance patient care, staff efficiency, and regulatory compliance.What You Bring to the Role (Ideal Experience)
- 5+ years of experience with Epic Optime or Workday configuration, support, and/or optimization.
- Current Epic certification in Optime or related Epic modules (e.g., Anesthesia, ASAP, Radiant).
- Experience in Workday HCM, Financials, or Supply Chain is highly desirable.
- Proven success in leading or coordinating large-scale EMR or ERP implementations.
- In-depth understanding of clinical workflows, OR scheduling, and perioperative environments.
- Strong understanding of ITIL practices, change management, and governance.
- Experience collaborating with clinical and administrative stakeholders.
- Excellent communication, problem-solving, and documentation skills.
- Bachelor's degree in Healthcare IT, Information Systems, or related field (or equivalent work experience).
What You'll Do (Skills Used in this Position)
- Act as the primary liaison between clinical/administrative teams and IT for Epic Optime or Workday modules.
- Lead discovery, requirements gathering, configuration, testing, training, and support processes.
- Configure and maintain system settings, workflows, and interfaces within Epic or Workday platforms.
- Analyze and document system issues and enhancement requests; manage incident resolution.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to improve operational and clinical efficiencies.
- Support go-lives, upgrades, and system maintenance cycles.
- Ensure compliance with organizational standards, security, and regulatory requirements.
- Create end-user documentation, training materials, and conduct training sessions as needed.
Compensation Information
The expected salary range for this position is $65 $95 per hour, depending on experience and qualifications. This role also qualifies for comprehensive benefits such as health insurance, 401(k), and paid time off. TalentFish is committed to pay transparency and equal opportunity.
