Salary Range: 30,000 - 40,000
Work Set-Up: Work onsite | Mon-Fri | 6am - 3pm

Responsibilities:

• Use CAD software to create technical drawings and plans for timber glulam products used in the construction industry
• Work closely with the client, engineer and architect, to enable accurate prefabrication of components in the plant
• Provide Shop Drawings where needed for Timber members including all connection details.
• Produce accurate 2D/3D BIM models and drawings for construction in plant
• Manage incoming and outgoing correspondence between clients and the company with regards to project drawings
• Work with the sales team to ensure all project timelines are kept within budget
• Provide QS support to the sales team in pricing larger jobs and/or jobs requiring detailing or specialized work
• Produce files for sending to CNC
• Implement best practice procedures
• Always be aware of ways that you can improve on existing systems and put suggestions and improvements forward
• Complete any additional tasks and reasonable instructions as required

Requirements:

• CAD qualification preferably Cadwork or Revit
• Design skills and knowledge
• Math, thinking, and reasoning skills
• Accurate, thorough and pay attention to detail
• Excellent verbal communication skills
• Able to work well with others
• High positive energy & passion with a strong ambition to succeed
• Able to effectively manage numerous & at times conflicting tasks/ priorities, adapting to changed priorities
• Able to work autonomously and take initiative to prevent problems arising
