Salary Range: 60,000 - 70,000

Responsibilities:

• Create, review, and refine complex 3D Tekla structural steel models and detailed fabrication drawings.
• Develop accurate shop and assembly drawings for structural steel projects, ensuring compliance with industry standards and project specifications.
• Perform structural calculations, including material take-offs, weight limitations, and connection verifications.
• Collaborate closely with engineers, project managers, and fabricators to ensure constructible and efficient designs.
• Review designs for compliance with regulatory standards, project specifications, and quality requirements.
• Identify potential design or fabrication issues early and propose effective solutions.
• Mentor junior modelers and drafters, providing guidance on Tekla best practices and fabrication detailing.
• Maintain detailed documentation and revision control of all structural steel models and drawings.
• Perform other related duties as required to support project delivery.

Requirements:

• Proven experience as a Structural Steel Modeler or Fabrication Detailer.
• Proficient in Tekla Structures and AutoCAD.
• Deep understanding of structural steel detailing, fabrication processes, and construction practices.
• Excellent analytical, numerical, and problem-solving abilities.
• Strong communication skills, capable of working collaboratively with engineers, fabricators, and project teams.
• Ability to work independently and under pressure to meet tight deadlines.
• Strong work ethic, attention to detail, and commitment to quality.
