About the job Q300100: Take-off Assistant
To be a part of a driven team, performing take-offs, estimations and bid proposals with a focus on Industrial, Commercial, and Institutions projects. To be a skilled, motivated individual with a keen attention to detail. Responsible for reviewing projects, completing take offs for labor and materials costs.
Salary Range: PHP 25,000 - PHP 35,000
The Work Set-Up:
- Work onsite
- 8 hour work shift
- Monday - Friday
- Nightshift (8:00pm - 5:00am)

The Responsibilities:
- Assisting Project Managers & Estimating Department with all aspects of take offs and estimating.
- Ability to learn how to read & understand drawings & specifications.
- Ability to interpret 3-D and CAD designs and convert those to accurate labor and material cost estimates, review blueprints and product specifications to accurately determine the quantities of materials needed.
- Use detailed spreadsheets and company-approved formulas to calculate the projected costs of proposed projects.
- Document total materials needed, including detail regarding all part numbers, brands, and contact information necessary to process orders.
- Request quotes from vendors for materials and verify the vendor's bill of material.
- Perform Take-offs and Estimates to compile raw materials and labor hours for product pricing in accordance with standards.
- Organize and maintain electronic copies of quotes and estimates for each project.
- Assist in downloading and printing electronically submitted RFQ packages.
- Manage production timelines and budget tracking,
- Experience tracking fluctuating material prices and ensuring that estimates are based on real-time information.
- Working closely with key members of the project team (such as the project manager, sales, design) and liaising with clients & suppliers
The Requirements:
- 2 - 3 years experience, or bachelors degree preferred, but not required; background in the sign industry, or business is a plus
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite, Adobe Acrobat, and ability to learn proprietary software/database.
- A self-starter who is independently driven to succeed
- A high level of organization and detail, aptitude for math
- Ability to work independently or with a team.
- Interpersonal communication skills, both written and verbal
- Critical thinking, analytical, and organizational skills, time management skills
