We are looking for a detail-oriented and experienced Accountant to join our team. In this role, you will handle essential accounting functions and assist with sales support as needed. The ideal candidate will have strong experience with Xero, a solid background in accounting for Australian companies, and a thorough understanding of Australian tax regulations. Additionally, you'll help support our sales team with tasks related to customer inquiries, order processing, and documentation.

Salary Range: PHP 40,000 - PHP 50,000

The Work Set-Up: Work onsite | Mon-Fri | 6 am - 3 pm

The Responsibilities:

  • Manage day-to-day accounting tasks using Xero, including accounts payable and receivable, reconciliation, and payroll. Ensure compliance with Australian accounting standards and tax requirements.
  • Prepare and submit BAS, PAYG, and other statutory requirements in line with Australian tax laws.
  • Generate and analyze financial reports to support company decision-making, including monthly P&L and cash flow statements.
  • Support the sales team by managing customer inquiries, processing orders, and assisting with tender documentation as needed.
  • Process orders, update customer records, and respond to customer inquiries.
  • Develop an understanding of our FRP products to assist customers effectively. Collaborate with logistics and project management to ensure timely deliveries.
  • Maintain accurate records and prepare detailed reports for both accounting and sales activities.
  • Perform other tasks required.

The Requirements:

  • Proven experience in accounting for Australian companies, with expertise in Australian tax regulations. Background in FRP or construction is a plus.
  • Prior experience in sales support or customer service is advantageous.
  • Strong proficiency in Xero and Microsoft Office Suite.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Attention to detail. Ability to multitask with accuracy.
  • Commitment to excellent customer service.
  • Ability to work collaboratively.
  • Strong work ethic and possesses a positive attitude towards work.
