Q300158: Estimator

Estimators shall collect and analyze data in order to estimate the time, money, materials, and labor required to manufacture and construct our products. Estimator shall review drawings and formulate project scopes of work, formulate RFIs, communicate and clarify scope with clients, conduct take-offs and prepare bid and client proposals.

Salary Range: PHP 30,000 - PHP 40,000

The Work Set-Up: 

• Work onsite
• 8 hour shift
• Monday to Friday
• Nightshift (8:00 PM - 5:00 AM)

The Responsibilities:

• Prepares work to be accomplished by gathering information and requirements, setting priorities and meeting deadlines
• Prepares construction budget by studying home plans; updating specifications; identifying and projecting costs for each elevation.
• Evaluates offers to purchase by costing changes, additions, and site requirements.
• Obtains bids from vendors and subcontractors by specifying materials; identifying qualified subcontractors; negotiating price.
• Maintains cost keys and price master's by updating information.
• Resolves cost discrepancies by collecting and analyzing information.
• Prepares special reports by collecting, analyzing, and summarizing information and trends.
• Maintains quality service by following organization standards.
• Maintains continuity among corporate, division, and local work teams by documenting and communicating actions, irregularities, and continuing needs.
• Maintains professional and technical knowledge by attending educational workshops; reviewing professional publications; establishing personal networks; and participating in professional societies.
• Contributes to team effort by accomplishing related results as needed

The Requirements:

• BS / BA in Engineering, construction or relevant discipline a plus.
• Proven experience as an Estimator or similar position.
• Estimating curtain wall or railings systems is a plus.
• In-depth experience using Microsoft Excel and or financial bid templates.
