LEM0005 - Junior Project Engineer

Salary Range: PHP20,000 - PHP30,000
Work Schedule: Monday - Saturday (8am - 5pm)
Location: San Vicente Corba, Concepcion, Tarlac

Key Responsibilities:

1. Civil Engineering & Project Management:

• Assist in the design, planning, and execution of civil engineering projects, including roads, bridges, buildings, and infrastructure.
• Conduct site inspections and ensure compliance with safety, environmental, and quality standards.
• Support project scheduling, risk assessment, and coordination with stakeholders.
• Assist in preparing technical drawings, reports, and specifications.

2. Budgeting & Cost Control:

• Assist in preparing project cost estimates, financial forecasts, and budgeting reports.
• Monitor project expenses and track budget allocations to prevent cost overruns.
• Collaborate with procurement teams to optimize material and labor costs.
• Assist in preparing financial reports, cost-benefit analyses, and project variance reports.

3. Compliance & Documentation:

• Ensure project activities comply with regulatory requirements and industry best practices.
• Maintain accurate records of project expenditures, invoices, and contracts.
• Assist in preparing tender documents and evaluating contractor bids.

4. Coordination & Communication:

• Work closely with project teams, contractors, and consultants to ensure smooth project execution.
• Attend project meetings and provide updates on progress, budget status, and potential issues.
• Support senior engineers in liaising with government authorities and regulatory bodies.

Requirements:

• Bachelors Degree in Civil Engineering or a related field.
• 1-3 years of experience in civil engineering, project coordination, or construction budgeting.
• Knowledge of construction management software and budgeting tools.
• Strong analytical, communication, and problem-solving skills.
• Proficiency in Microsoft Excel, AutoCAD, and project management tools (e.g., Primavera, MS Project).
