Q300145: Estimator

Will be responsible for assessing project requirements, estimating costs, and preparing detailed project budgets. This role is crucial for ensuring that the projects are completed within budget and to the highest standards. Knowledge of costs and benefits that support profitable business decisions. Must be thorough and apt in managing relationships with key persons, the goal is to provide detailed reports so the company can make informed decisions that will enhance its profitability and growth.

The Salary Range: Php 30,000 to Php 40,000

The Work Set-Up:

• Work onsite
• 8 hour work shift
• Monday to Friday
  
• UK shift (3pm - 12am)

The Responsibilities:

• Prepare detailed and accurate cost estimates for projects by analyzing blueprints, specifications, and other related documents
• Develop and manage project budgets, including labor, materials, time and overhead costs.
• Identify potential risks and recommend mitigation strategies to avoid cost overruns and project delays.
• Prepare and present detailed reports on estimated costs and budget forecasts to management and clients.
• Creating labor estimates for any project.
• Developing and maintaining relationships with company vendors and contractors.
• Managing bids from vendors and contractors.
• Using bids data to prepare detailed a cost analysis.

The Requirements:

• Degree in Architecture, Civil Engineering or equivalent.
• 2 - 3 years experience in the construction industry as an estimator or similar position.
• In-depth experience in using Bluebeam and Kreo.
• Knowledge in UK construction is a bonus.
• Ability to coordinate and work independently.
• Strong attention to details and excellent communication skills.
