As Senior Accountant, you will play a pivotal role leading financial reporting, compliance and advisory functions for our clients. Opportunity for the right candidate to develop into a taxation manager role.

Salary Range: 45,000-60,000
Work Set-Up: Work onsite | Mon-Fri | 6am - 3pm

Responsibilities:

• Manage a portfolio of clients tax obligations which includes Income Tax Compliance, Business Activity Statements (BAS) and other statutory obligations.
• Prepare and review financial statements and management reports.
• Oversee BAS/FBT/TPAR/tax compliance for a range of various entities (Trusts, Companies & structure knowledge is vital).
• Work together with the team to ensure 100% income tax lodgment across the practice.
• Conduct reconciliations and resolve variances for new clientele.
• Lead as a role model for other members.
• Identify process improvements and automation opportunities.
• Support advisory discussions with clients.
• Maintain uptodate knowledge of accounting standards and legislation.
• KPIs are surrounding the percentage of tax returns & BAS lodged.

Requirements:

• Bachelors degree in accounting/finance.
• CA/CPA qualified required.
• 2+ years experience in senior accounting roles.
• Strong reporting, compliance and reconciliation experience.
• Advanced Excel and Accounting Software Skills (Xero/QBO/MYOB).
• Strong analytical and communication skills.
• Clear Team & People first mentality.
• Worked in a startup business before is desirable.
