Role Overview

We are seeking a highly motivated Commercial Analyst to support our business strategy, pricing models, and commercial initiatives. In this role, you will leverage data analytics and market insights to optimize revenue, enhance customer value, and identify growth opportunities within the SaaS and digital telecommunications sectors.

Key Responsibilities

  1. Financial Analysis & Reporting

    • Develop and maintain financial models to evaluate business performance and forecast revenue growth.
    • Monitor key financial and operational metrics, delivering actionable insights to senior management.
    • Provide monthly and quarterly performance reports, highlighting trends and risks.
  2. Pricing & Revenue Optimization

    • Analyze pricing strategies and recommend adjustments to maximize profitability and competitiveness.
    • Partner with sales and marketing teams to implement tailored pricing plans for diverse customer segments.
    • Assess customer acquisition costs and lifetime value to inform revenue strategies.
  3. Market Analysis

    • Conduct market research to identify trends, customer preferences, and competitive dynamics.
    • Evaluate new market entry opportunities and assist in go-to-market strategies for SaaS and digital telecom solutions.
    • Benchmark competitor offerings and provide recommendations for differentiation.
  4. Stakeholder Collaboration

    • Work closely with product, sales, and operations teams to align business strategies with financial objectives.
    • Act as a liaison between finance and commercial teams, translating complex data into actionable plans.
    • Support contract negotiations with financial and commercial analysis.
  5. Process Improvement

    • Identify opportunities to streamline financial reporting and analysis processes.
    • Implement tools and systems that enhance data accuracy and efficiency.

Qualifications

  • Bachelors degree in Finance, Economics, Business, or a related field.
  • 3+ years of experience in a commercial analyst, financial analyst, or similar role, preferably within the SaaS or telecommunications industries.
  • Strong proficiency in data analysis tools such as Excel, Tableau, Power BI, or similar platforms.
  • Knowledge of financial modelling and scenario analysis.
  • Understanding of SaaS metrics (ARR, MRR, churn, CAC, LTV) and telecom KPIs.
  • Excellent problem-solving and critical-thinking skills with a focus on data-driven decision-making.
  • Strong communication and presentation skills, with the ability to influence stakeholders at all levels.
