About This Role

The Senior Analyst / Specialist, Business Planning & Strategy plays a critical role in supporting the Consumer business strategic initiatives and planning by developing business forecasting models and developing strategic presentations and reports to support Circles in its international expansion efforts.

Key Responsibilities

  • Market Research: Conduct detailed research, using various secondary sources (industry reports, publicly available data, and third-party research), to analyse market trends, customer preferences, and perform market sizing and competitor landscape analysis to identify market opportunities
  • Strategic Planning: Assist in the formulation and execution of growth strategies, including supporting the setting of growth targets and identifying new market segments for growth opportunities
  • Business Planning & Forecasting: Support the budgeting process, the development of rolling forecasts, and assess and highlight risks associated with business growth
  • Scenario Planning: Support scenario planning exercises to evaluate the potential outcomes of strategic decisions and their impact on the organization
  • Presentations: Prepare presentations and reports for cross-functional stakeholders, including blueprint development and case studies to support Circles in partner market expansion efforts.
  • Ad-hoc Projects:

Qualifications

Participate in other strategic initiatives and projects as required.

  • Education: Bachelor's degree in Business Administration, Finance, Economics, STEM or related field.
  • Experience:
    • 2-3 years of experience in management consulting (MBB or Big 4 strategy consulting) or investment banking.
    • Prior experience with telecommunications or technology industry coverage is a plus.
  • Skills & Competencies:
    • Strong analytical skills with the ability to interpret complex data and provide actionable insights.
    • Proficiency in financial modelling, forecasting, and business case development.
    • Proficient with Excel and PowerPoint.
    • Excellent written and verbal communication skills for preparing strategic reports and presentations.
    • Ability to work independently and as part of a cross-functional team.
    • Strong project management skills with the ability to manage multiple initiatives simultaneously.
    • High attention to detail and accuracy in analytical work.
