Data Engineer Senior

Position: Data Engineer Senior

 you will be responsible for designing, developing, and maintaining our data infrastructure. You will work closely with our team of data scientists and analysts to ensure that our data is accurate, accessible, and secure. You will also be responsible for implementing data pipelines and ETL processes to support our data-driven initiatives.

Key Responsibilities:

- Design, develop, and maintain data infrastructure, including data warehouses, data lakes, and ETL processes

- Work with cross-functional teams to understand data requirements and design solutions that meet business needs

- Develop and maintain data pipelines to ensure timely and accurate data delivery

- Monitor and troubleshoot data pipelines to ensure data quality and integrity

- Develop and implement data governance policies and procedures

- Optimize data infrastructure for performance and scalability

- Stay current with industry trends and best practices in data engineering and analytics

- Mentor and train junior data engineers on best practices and new technologies

Qualifications:

- Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or a related field

- 5+ years of experience in data engineering or a related role

- Experience with data warehousing, ETL processes, and data modeling

- Strong SQL skills and experience with databases such as MySQL, PostgreSQL, or Oracle

- Experience with cloud platforms such as Azure

- Proficiency in at least one programming language such as Apatche Nifi

- Knowledge of data visualization tools such as Databricks

- Experience with data governance and data security best practices

- Excellent problem-solving and analytical skills

- Strong communication and collaboration skills

- Ability to work in a fast-paced and dynamic environment
