Groupworx is looking for a Sales Supervisor to join our team in Richards Bay, KZN.
Position Overview:
The Sales Supervisor is responsible for overseeing and managing the daily operations of a small shop, ensuring exceptional customer service, achieving sales targets, and leading a small team of employees. This role requires strong leadership, communication, and organizational skills to effectively drive sales and maintain a high level of customer satisfaction.
Key Responsibilities:
- Team Leadership:
- Supervise, train, and mentor the team, ensuring they understand their roles and responsibilities.
- Schedule shifts and manage employee timekeeping to ensure adequate coverage during operating hours.
- Conduct regular team meetings to communicate goals, provide updates, and address any concerns.
- Sales Management:
- Set sales targets and goals for the team and monitor their performance against these targets.
- Develop and implement sales strategies to increase revenue and meet or exceed sales quotas.
- Analyze sales data and trends to identify opportunities for improvement and growth.
- Customer Service:
- Ensure that all customers receive exceptional service by coaching and modelling effective customer interactions.
- Handle customer complaints and inquiries, resolving issues promptly and maintaining a positive customer experience.
- Train team members to provide product knowledge and assist customers in making informed purchasing decisions.
- Inventory Control:
- Manage inventory levels and conduct regular inventory checks to prevent stockouts and overstock situations.
- Coordinate with the inventory department to ensure accurate stock records and timely replenishment.
- Visual Merchandising:
- Maintain an attractive and organized shop layout to enhance the overall shopping experience.
- Implement visual merchandising strategies to highlight key products and promotions.
