About the role:

The Assistant Manager - HR & Talent Acquisition is responsible for attracting and hiring high-quality, competent professionals in Grants, Health & Scholarships. This role involves managing the full recruitment life cycle, from sourcing and pre-screening to interview coordination, offer extension, and new employee onboarding. The incumbent will play a key role in building a strong workforce that aligns with the organization's mission and values.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Manage the end-to-end recruitment cycle, including sourcing, screening, interviewing, and onboarding.
  • Source candidates through various channels such as job portals, professional networks, referrals, and press advertisements.
  • Screen and shortlist candidates based on job requirements, conducting initial telephonic or personal interviews as needed.
  • Effectively communicate the organization's philosophy, vision, and job descriptions to potential candidates.
  • Coordinate all candidate communication and logistics, ensuring a smooth and positive candidate experience.
  • Maintain and update a comprehensive candidate database on a daily basis.
  • Develop and maintain a strong network to identify and source both active and passive candidates.
  • Generate and present recruitment reports on a timely basis to track key metrics.

Required Qualifications and Experience:

  • Education: Bachelor's degree is a must.
  • Experience: A minimum of 3 years of recruitment experience is required.
  • Technical Skills: Proficiency in MS Office (Word, Excel, PowerPoint) and excellent computer skills in a Microsoft Windows environment.
  • Communication: Excellent oral and written communication skills.
  • Interpersonal Skills: Strong interpersonal skills with the ability to build rapport and work collaboratively across different functions.
  • Organizational Skills: Exceptional organizational skills and attention to detail.
  • Database Management: Proficiency in database management and record-keeping.
  • Confidentiality: Ability to maintain a high degree of confidentiality regarding all human resources matters.
