About the Role:
We are looking for an experienced Associate Director – Operations to lead the successful execution of multiple large-scale projects across geographies. The role will own operational strategy, project delivery, stakeholder management, team leadership, and performance monitoring to ensure projects are delivered efficiently, on time, and with measurable outcomes.
Key Responsibilities
1. Operations & Project Delivery
- Lead end-to-end operations and delivery of multiple projects across locations.
- Develop SOPs, operating frameworks, governance mechanisms, and project management processes.
- Ensure timely delivery, quality, budgets, and agreed project outcomes.
- Identify operational bottlenecks and drive continuous process improvements.
2. Stakeholder Management
- Manage relationships with corporate/CSR partners, government stakeholders, implementation partners, institutions, and other external stakeholders.
- Drive effective coordination across internal and external teams.
- Support strategic partnerships and evaluate operational feasibility for new projects.
3. Monitoring, Reporting & Compliance
- Track project performance through MIS, dashboards, KPIs, reviews, and risk-management mechanisms.
- Ensure timely documentation, reporting, utilization tracking, compliance, and audit readiness.
- Use data and operational insights to improve project performance and decision-making.
4. Team Leadership
- Lead regional teams, project managers, and implementation staff across multiple locations.
- Build a high-performing, accountable, and collaborative team culture.
- Provide guidance, capacity building, and performance support to project teams.
Preferred Qualifications & Experience
- 10–15 years of experience in operations, program management, or large-scale project delivery.
- Experience in CSR, education, government, social impact, or development-sector programs is highly preferred.
- Proven experience managing multi-location teams and complex stakeholder ecosystems.
- Strong project planning, operational management, execution, and problem-solving skills.
- Experience with MIS, dashboards, KPIs, budgeting, compliance, and reporting.
- Strong stakeholder management and communication skills, with the ability to engage senior leadership and external partners.
- High ownership, execution orientation, and ability to work in a fast-paced and evolving environment.
- MBA or relevant postgraduate qualification preferred.
