Job Summary:
We are currently seeking for a highly qualified Chief of Staff to work closely with our CEO. This person will have an immediate impact by streamlining strategic initiatives, facilitating communication between departments, providing administrative and strategic support to the executive team. The ideal candidate will have proven success in a business management role, with a special focus on executive-level advising and interdepartmental collaboration.
Objectives of this role:
Study the social development sector, generate reports, and deliver data-driven insights and analysis to support informed decision-making.
Assess, analyse, evaluate and recommend new projects / initiatives.
Launch pilot programs on a small scale to identify roadblocks, issues, outcomes and effectiveness. Make necessary adjustments based on learnings from the pilot.
Oversee strategic business initiatives, from development through successful execution, under the guidance of the CEO.
Assist and communicate with senior executives in decision-making, program management, and initiative implementation.
Review, design, and execute improvements to organizational structure; find knowledge and skills gaps and help address them.
Improve current processes and optimize organizational procedures for efficiency and productivity.
Responsibilities:
Work closely with the CEO to solve key problems and develop new processes.
Conduct customer development conversations and carry out comprehensive market and industry research.
Contribute to the strategic priorities set by the leadership at Swades Foundation.
Play a vital role in enhancing Swades' branding and positioning within the social sector.
Work closely with all the Heads of Department and understand the nuances of the thematic area and how it contributes to the overall strategy of Swades.
Develop and build on relationships with all employees for increased efficiency and responsiveness of existing operations, and help define new operational strategies by working with CEO and other executives on special projects
Required skills and qualifications:
Six to eight years of experience in a Business Management or Executive role.
Nimble business mind, focused on developing creative solutions.
Experience in data analysis and budget management.
Experience in planning and leading strategic initiatives.
Versatile abilities and extreme dedication to efficient productivity.
Willingness to work and travel and stay in rural areas for a few days periodically based on project basis.
Excellent written and verbal communication skills along with good presentation skills.
