About role & requirements: 

  • Minimum 3 to 6 years of proven and relevant experience working in research, analysis, monitoring and evaluation (M&E) with a social organization/ NGO/ Nonprofit focusing on rural India, in the field of Health/ Education/ Water/ Sanitation/ Green Initiatives/ Economic Development (Livelihoods)/ Government Convergence/ and capacity building/ institution building of rural communities

Educational Qualification

  • Postgraduate degree (preferred) or Graduation in Economics/ Statistics/ Mathematics; added advantage will be a degree in Demography/ Population Sciences/ Development Studies/ Social work/ Other allied Sciences.

Additional Skills

  • Intermediate to advance skills in Excel data management is required.
  • Working knowledge and exposure to development of data input forms on systems like ODK/ SurveyCTO / Kobo Collect/ CommCare (Dimagi) / CRM / salesforce etc. is required.
  • Exposure to backend data management on IT platforms and logical understanding of data flow is highly desirable.
  • Good knowledge & skills of statistical packages (SPSS/ STATA/ R) for data management including advanced MS office is desirable.
  • Comprehension of Marathi language or willingness to learn conversational Marathi is a plus. 
  • Knowledge of PowerBi, Superset (Azure), python, Tableau will be an added advantage. Knowledge of Artificial Intelligence (AI) tools, AI in excel, or AI in other software will be an added advantage.

Responsibility:

  • Responsible for design, development, implementation, quality check, reporting, assessment, analysis, review and use of the MIS, dashboards, internal and external audits, outcome and impact assessments, including pilots of new programs, under Health, Education, Water, Sanitation, Green Initiatives, Economic Development (Livelihoods), Government Convergence, 360-development, Dream Village, and Community Education and Training.
  • Undertake regular field visit for data quality monitoring and providing feedback for improving quality of data, and better achievement of outcome and impact indicators.
  • Undertake analytical and technical work related to data generation, interpretation and advanced analysis of data.
  • Support in designing and conducting new geography scope assessment/ baseline/ midline/ endline surveys and outcome assessments.
  • Monitor the data quality by aligning output with program validation and goals.
  • Keep the track of validated data flow on regular basis among different program verticals with specific focus on generating cohort of households/ individuals benefitted.
  • Consolidate the finding of analysis and prepare technical report / annual reports documents. Support the team in conducting program reviews and develop presentations and reports. Support the implementation and on-going development of M&E processes, systems and guidance, including leading the design and roll-out of reporting initiatives for the program.
  • Lead on the consolidation of monitoring data for reporting against the log frame and performance indicators for donor reporting and internal program review.
  • Development of strategies/ protocols/ standards etc. related to data management.
  • Organizing trainings and capacity building workshops for field staff on Data management. Take up any other work assigned by reporting manager.
