About Anahata UNITED EFFORTS Foundation
Anahata UNITED EFFORTS Foundation is a Bangalore based, Section 8 nonprofit organization set up in 2018 to empower students from economically weaker sections to leverage their education and become professionals in a sector of their choice and ability. Towards this United Efforts has developed the Students to Professionals Curriculum. This curriculum is being adopted by the Karnataka Govt in its
residential schools and high schools across the state.
Students to Professionals Program is a 100+ hour curriculum for classes 8th through 10th and beyond. The program has 3 main parts to it.
My Future My Choices through classes 8th and 9th students are exposed to 25 different work sectors and encouraged to match their interest and abilities to the sector. Goal to build awareness
My Future My Plans through classes 10th to 12th students build their decision-making skills and 21st century skills to effectively plan and work their way to becoming professional with an optimum educational pathway.
Professional is Born is remote assistance that tracks the student until she becomes a professional in a sector of her choice and ability.

Role Description
- Partnerships & Fundraising Strategy & Targets
- Develop and implement comprehensive fundraising strategies to support the foundation's programs, capacity building and scale.
- Identify and prioritize potential funding sources, including individual donors, foundations, corporations, and government grants.
- Communicate the foundation's mission, goals, and impact effectively to donors and stakeholders. Plan, coordinate, and execute fundraising events, campaigns, and initiatives to engage donors and raise funds.
- Evaluate the effectiveness of fundraising events and campaigns and make recommendations for improvement.
- Beyond fundraising partnerships, strategically evaluate partnerships that can take UE closer to its mission.
PMO
- Custodian of MOUs. Orient Program, Content, Finance team when a new MOU is signed and ensure that all parties are onboard and clear on the deliverables and reporting requirements.
- Steward relationships with donors and manage PMO to ensure ongoing engagement and support.
- Work with the program and content team to ensure timely and clean reporting to effectively Work closely with the finance team to develop and utilize fundraising budgets.
- Monitor fundraising revenue and expenses, track progress toward fundraising goals, and provide regular reports to senior management.
COMMUNICATIONS
- Define and build a strong brand of UE
- Ensure the UE website is relevant and accurate
- Social media campaign is ongoing, and corporates and foundations are well aware of UEs impact Annual report and monthly newsletters are crisp and engaging our target audience Online and offline events to bring together donors and beneficiaries are periodically being conducted.
- Plan and represent the foundation at networking events, conferences, to build relationships and expand the partner base.
Key Requirements Educational Qualification & Experience
- Master's degree in a relevant field (such as nonprofit management, business administration, marketing and communications).
- Strategic thinker with the ability to develop and execute fundraising strategies aligned with organizational goals.
- Minimum of 6-8 years of experience in marketing & communications, fundraising, development, or related roles, preferably in the nonprofit sector.
- Proven track record of successful fundraising, including experience with individual giving, grant writing, and donor relations.
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills, with the ability to articulate complex ideas clearly and persuasively.
- Strong interpersonal skills and ability to build relationships with diverse stakeholders, including donors, board members, staff, and volunteers.

- Willingness to travel to schools in jurisdiction
- Is open to feedback and solely invested in developing high-quality content Strong relationship management skills, with a demonstrated ability to liaise with all levels of internal and external stakeholders.
