Position Overview: As the CSR Partnership Manager, you will spearhead our efforts to secure the necessary funding to drive and expand our charitable programs. This role is designed for a visionary leader skilled in CSR fundraising, capable of forging strong connections and articulating our mission to donors and partners alike.

Responsibilities include, but not limited to

  • Will be heading a team of executives for developing strategic plans for CSR fundraising initiatives, setting clear targets and goals aligned with the partner NGO's mission, objectives, and areas of focus.
  • Research and targeting of relevant companies for CSR; research to identify RFQs; secondary research on companies their campaigns, products, CSR focus areas.
  • Analysis of CSR trends/ reports on philanthropy.
  • Scope and grow the donor base, manage and develop long-term relationships with donors, and upgrade them up the donor pyramid.
  • Effectively convey the organizations mission, vision, and programs to potential donors through face-to-face meetings.
  • Plan donor engagement activities and events in line with the strategy.
  • Communication with corporate donors both acquisition, servicing, and retention.
  • Develop concept notes, proposals, presentations, award applications, due diligence work.
  • Provide inputs for the creation of grant agreements with the corporate partners to ensure
  • they meet donor requirements and manage them in terms of seeking extensions or tracking under-spends.
  • Work with Communications/ Marketing team to maintain effective marketing collateral.
  • Donor relationship management-end to end donor management from onboarding to retention by ensuring donor delight.
  • Set fundraising targets and key performance indicators (KPIs) for revenue generation, donor acquisition, and retention.
  • Ensure the updating and maintenance of MIS, databases, and internal reporting. Monitor progress towards targets and take proactive measures to address any shortfalls or challenges.

Minimum Qualification, Skills, Competencies

  • Candidate must hold a Masters Degree in business administration, Marketing, Social work or a related field.
  • 7 - 12 years relevant experience in fundraising and donor management. Prior experience working in the social sector will be a plus. (Previous experience in Business Development, wealth management or financial services will be a plus.)
  • Microsoft Suite, Google Suite working knowledge.
  • Sectoral exposure to corporates/ worked with experience in fundraising preferred.
  • Target driven and result oriented with a proven ability to work on own initiative and as part of a multi-disciplinary team.
  • Must possess excellent written and verbal communication skills, attention to detail, along with strong networking and presentation skills.
  • Ability to understand the strategic aims of the organization and to translate these into pitches. Ability to operationalize strategy along with excellent management and organization skills.
  • Understanding of communication strategy and ability to translate key messages into content.
  • Strong time management skills, with the ability to prioritize and manage multiple client relationships simultaneously.
  • Must have knowledge of CSR concepts, trends, and practices, with a genuine passion for social responsibility and sustainability.
  • Willingness to travel as required to meet with clients and attend industry events.
