As Orgs Marcom Manager (Fundraising), you'll play a pivotal role in amplifying our impact and igniting a movement of social change. You'll be the bridge between our mission and the generous donors who fuel our work. Here's how you'll make a difference:
- Strategize and Implement a Winning Donor Engagement Strategy: Develop and execute an annual donor engagement communication strategy tailored to each donor type (CSR donors, high-net-worth individuals, etc.). Drive increased donor engagement and foster long-term relationships.
- Craft Compelling Content: Ensure timely and effective creation and distribution of high-quality content pieces that resonate with donors. Inspire donors to become champions of change through compelling storytelling.
- Bring Stories to Life: Plan, execute, and distribute impactful project videos and donor appreciation videos that showcase the transformative power of Orgs work. Connect donors deeply with the stories of the individuals they are empowering.
- Build Strong Relationships: Represent Marcom on donor calls and interactions, establishing strong relationships with key personalities across corporates, influencers, and individuals. Forge meaningful connections that unlock new avenues of support and drive lasting impact.
- Create Unforgettable Experiences: Plan and organize impactful project visits for select donors, allowing them to witness firsthand the positive change they are creating. Offer donors unique and inspiring experiences that deepen their connection to orgs mission.
- Data-Driven Success: Utilize data-driven insights from CRM and donor dashboards to assist the fundraising team in progressing donors along the donor acquisition funnel. Optimize donor journeys and maximize impact through data-driven strategies.
- Stay Informed and Aligned: Maintain excellent rapport with state teams to stay up-to-date on project progress and communicate meaningful updates to donors. Ensure donors always have the latest information and feel connected to the ongoing impact of their support.
- Craft Compelling Narratives: Create concise, informative, and impactful visually appealing donor-oriented pitch decks and reports. Inspire donors with compelling narratives that showcase the transformative power of orgs work.
- Organize Engaging Events: Identify/organize online/offline events (to attend/host), and set event-based fundraising goals for each donor type. Successfully plan and execute impactful events that drive donor engagement and exceed fundraising targets.
- Steward Our Brand: Take ownership of fundraising/donor inclusion and representation in annual flagship and other major organizational events. Effectively represent orgs brand at all key events, showcasing our impact and inspiring new supporters.
- Develop Engaging Content: Identify, develop, distribute, and maintain all print and electronic collaterals including, but not limited to, newsletters, appeal letters, blogs, brochures, Whatsapp communication. Develop creative content that inspires donors to take action and support our mission.
- Collaborate for Maximum Impact: Coordinate with the broader Marcom team for donor updates on website, blog, social media, and PR for seamless and effective distribution/utilization of content and resources. Maximize the impact of integrated communication efforts through effective cross-team collaboration.
- Drive Online Fundraising Success: Lead quarterly Online Fundraising Campaigns (OFRCs), and giving campaigns (e.g., Daan Utsav, Giving Tuesday) for HNIs (based on sub-categories identified by the core FR team). Successfully lead online fundraising campaigns that drive donor generosity and support orgs mission.
- Measure and Improve: Track campaigns and communication, create reports to demonstrate the effectiveness of campaigns. Continuously improve donor engagement and fundraising outcomes through data-driven insights and strategic adjustments.
- Monthly Reporting and Goal Setting: Contribute to monthly reporting against set OKRs. Play a key role in achieving organizational goals and ensuring the long-term sustainability of orgs impact.
Qualifications, Experience, and Skills:
- Education: Masters/ Bachelors (preferably in media, communications, journalism)
- Experience: Minimum 4 years relevant experience with fundraising roles in the social sector, 8 years relevant experience in all.

- Analytics: Data-driven mindset with the ability to analyze data and use insights to optimize campaigns.
- Project Management: Excellent project management skills with the ability to manage multiple projects and deadlines effectively.
- Good to Have Skills: Basic design skills in Adobe and/or Canva, basic video editing skills.
