About the Role:
Are you a highly motivated and analytical individual passionate about driving social impact? As a PA Communication, you will play a crucial role in supporting the success of our programs focused on tackling poverty and empowering entrepreneurs in India. You'll collaborate closely with Program Leads and Senior Project Managers, contributing to strategic development, content creation, performance monitoring, and internal reporting. This is an exciting opportunity to contribute to meaningful change across diverse project locations.
Your Key Responsibilities Will Include:
- Program Support & Documentation: Assist Program Leads in managing program activities and meticulously documenting progress.
- Business Development: Contribute creatively to the design of new programs across various thematic areas and support donor/client engagement.
- Cross-Functional Collaboration: Provide program management support to Finance, HR, and other internal teams.
- Proposal & Report Development: Craft compelling program proposals and high-quality reports for donors, stakeholders, and internal audiences.
- Data Management & Analysis: Ensure data quality, generate insightful program data and progress reports, and interpret findings using statistical techniques.
- Monitoring & Evaluation: Collaborate with the M&E team on developing and managing program tracking systems, supporting research, impact studies, and creating ESG-based monitoring frameworks.
- Field Engagement: Co-lead field surveys and impact assessments, and mentor project interns.
- Knowledge Sharing: Work with TechnoServe Fellows on strategic projects and contribute learnings from past successes.
- Framework Development: Create governance frameworks for local communities and women-led enterprises, and develop SOPs and reporting templates.
- Capacity Building: Structure effective training and skill development programs.
- Internal Support: Assist cross-functional teams in achieving program goals and manage internal deliverables.
- Communication & Outreach: Develop compelling communication materials, case studies, and social media content to promote the program's impact.
What We're Looking For:
- Graduate or postgraduate degree in Business Administration, Economics, Liberal Studies, or a related field from APU, Ashoka or St. Xaviour
- 1-3 years of experience in the corporate or development sector, specifically in communication
- Exceptional skills in structured report writing, long-form content creation, data analysis, evaluation, and large data management.
- Proficiency in high-level written communication, intermediate to advanced MS Excel and PowerPoint, and strong oral communication skills with the ability to present convincing arguments.
- Understanding of diverse business models.
- Strong MS Excel skills and familiarity with communication tools like Canva. Ability to synthesize complex data into clear information.
- A proactive approach to learning and improving data capture, monitoring, and reporting systems.
- Proven ability to collaborate effectively within diverse, geographically dispersed teams and deliver within deadlines.
- Willingness to travel to non-metro project locations as needed.
- A strong intrinsic motivation and passion for creating positive social impact.
