Role Overview

We're seeking a dynamic, impact-driven leader to spearhead our Water & Waste Management portfolio. The Sector Lead will design and execute strategies to accelerate adoption of sustainable solutions, foster strong partnerships with government and industry, and guide startups to scale impact and attract funding.

Key Responsibilities

Strategy & Planning

• Map sector opportunities and design high-impact programs.

• Engage with policymakers and ecosystem partners to drive adoption.

• Scout, validate, and scale climate-smart technologies.

Project & Portfolio Leadership

• Lead end-to-end project execution with clear accountability for outcomes.

• Manage a pipeline of startups, ensuring progress and compliance.

• Provide mentoring, capital access, and strategic guidance for growth.

Partnerships & Fundraising

• Build and manage relationships with donors, investors, and partners.

• Develop proposals, secure funding, and ensure timely reporting.

• Drive visibility and advocacy for the organization and its initiatives.

Ideal Profile

• Bachelors in Engineering, Environmental Science, or Public Policy; Masters preferred.
• 12-15 years of experience in water, sanitation, or waste management sectors.

• Strong background in project management and stakeholder engagement.

• Proven ability to lead teams, build partnerships, and deliver measurable results.

• Financial acumen and data-driven decision-making.
