About the job Business Unit Leader (Geotechnical)
Our client is a well-established company that provides geotechnical consulting and other services as part of a larger group of companies operating in Queensland and across Australia.
Due to an internal promotion, the search for a new Business Unit Leader for the geotechnical division has begun. You will have three direct reports who are the managers of their offices in Queensland. Your direct report will be the former Business Unit Leader.
This is a fantastic role for a geotechnical engineer or engineering geologist with at least 10 years of experience working in the Queensland market who has had exposure to managing people in either an office manager role or a team leader role and feels there are limited opportunities within their current company or who are looking for a new challenge.
To be considered, you should have a firm grasp on driving a team to build relationships with clients, write proposals, deliver projects within budgets, and maintain a healthy debtors list.
Your network of industry contacts and piers will be important as you take on the challenge of growing this consultancy. Experience working on projects and with clients in the renewables space would be highly regarded.
Our client is offering a very competitive salary package of $200K + for the right person, including a bonus structure, and the former holder of this position will provide training and support to assist with budget planning and strategy. There is also technical support and mentorship available from industry piers within the other divisions of this growing company,
Opportunities like this don't come around that often, so I encourage you to speak with me directly to find out more if you are interested.
