About the job Senior Geotechnical Engineer

This client is a privately owned medium-sized engineering consultancy specialising in mining services across numerous countries. They have 16 offices globally, two in Australia, Brisbane and Perth.
Even though they are well-known worldwide for their expertise in dam safety and tailings management practises, the Brisbane office (the Head Office) has a varied mix of other exciting mining projects working with the majority of Queensalnd's most recognised mining companies.
To be put forward to the client, you will need to be a senior geotechnical engineer with at least eight years of experience working in Australia or New Zealand and have the appropriate work rights to work within Australia.
Your experience would include managing projects for tailings dams, mine waste facilities, containment facilities and mine infrastructure projects. In particular, you should be able to demonstrate your level of involvement when preparing and reviewing technical specifications, drawings and design reports, conceptual and detailed engineering designs, engineering studies, feasibility studies and condition assessments,
At this career level, you should feel comfortable building relationships with clients throughout the project's life cycle and be prepared to visit your client's site in Australia and overseas when needed. It would be best if you enjoyed working with more junior staff to help them develop.
