Job Objective:

- Calibration technician is responsible for ensuring that measuring instruments and testing equipment
- function accurately and reliably. This includes calibrating the manufacturing site and lab equipment
- and performing complex adjustments and fine-tuning instruments to meet specific standards. The
- role also involves adhering to industry regulations and standards, documenting calibration
- procedures, maintaining detailed calibration records, and collaborating effectively with other team
- members to ensure the accuracy of measurements.
- Environment
- Internal and external interactions i.e.: with other departments/divisions, international scope,
- providers, customers)
- Internal: Manufacturing, Quality, Engineering and Service divisions.
- External: Equipment suppliers, Health authorities, Government authorities and Auditors.
Key responsibility:
- Implement comprehensive calibration/verification procedures for laboratory instruments, and
- production equipment.
- Follow Calibration Management Plans (CMP).
- Perform complex calibration and adjustments.
- Analyze, interpret, and review raw data obtained during verification and calibration activities.
- Prepare and follow up on detailed calibration reports.
- Comply with regulatory requirements and internal quality standards.
- Foster a collaborative and high-performance team environment.
- Academic experience required
- Diploma or associate degree in mechanical engineering, Electrical Engineering, or a related
- field.
- Knowledge of current Good Manufacturing Practices (cGMP).
- Certification in Calibration, or relevant technical areas is a plus.
- Professional Experience Required
- Minimum of 10 years of experience in calibration.
- 8-10 years of professional experience in GMP facilities.
Computing Skills:
Basic knowledge of Microsoft office and software systems (SAP).
Familiarity in using maintenance management software systems (SAP PM or similar).
Familiarity in using BMS Software program.
Personal Skills:
- Good Communication skills.- Good analytical skills.
- Strong mechanical and electrical troubleshooting skills.
- Proficiency in using calibration tools and equipment.
- Good organizational and time management skills.
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
- Ability to read and interpret technical manuals, blueprints, and schematics.
Languages:
Fair English level in writing, speaking, and listening.
