Job Objective:
The Electrical Supervisor will be responsible for performing routine maintenance and repair tasks for the Machines in the manufacturing site . This includes maintaining and troubleshooting automatic sorting machine, conveyor systems, reactors, centrifuges, filter press and ABO. The supervisor will work to ensure that all equipment and systems are functioning efficiently and comply with industry standards, safety standards and regulations.

Environment

Internal: Interaction with management, machinery, quality, and service divisions.
External: Engagement with equipment suppliers, vendors, regulatory authorities, and auditors

Key Responsibility

  • Supervision and Execution:
    Supervise the electrical maintenance team and ensure timely preventive and corrective maintenance on electrical systems, including motors, PLCs, control panels, and automated equipment.
  • Troubleshooting and Repair:
    Diagnose electrical issues using diagnostic tools and interpret technical manuals and schematics to rectify electrical faults.
    Supervise or perform repairs to minimize machinery downtime.
  • Safety and Compliance:
    Enforce compliance with electrical safety regulations and industry standards.
    Conduct regular electrical safety audits and ensure adherence to safety protocols.

  •  Documentation and Reporting:
    Maintain detailed records of electrical maintenance, including repair logs and preventive maintenance schedules using CMMS software such as SAP-PM.
  • Team Collaboration:
    Collaborate with other departments and the mechanical team to ensure the smooth operation of all equipment.
    Coordinate with external vendors for support and parts procurement.

Academic experience required

  • Diploma or associate degree in Electrical Engineering, or a related field.
  • Knowledge of current Good Manufacturing Practices (cGMP).

Professional Experience Required

  • Minimum 10 years of experience in maintenance.
  • 8-10 years of professional experience in GMP facilities.
  • Proven experience with PLCs, SCADA, Classic control, and electrical troubleshooting.

Computing Skills

  • Basic knowledge of Microsoft office
  • Familiarity in using maintenance management software systems (SAP PM or similar).
  • Familiarity in using automated warehouse systems and related software is a plus.

  • Strong electrical troubleshooting skills..
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
  • Strong leadership, organizational, and team management skills.
  • Excellent problem-solving and troubleshooting abilities.
  • Ability to read and interpret electrical schematics.
