Job Description:
  • Forecasting & planning of domestic and international distribution to both PLC and consignee locally and internationally of plasma to ensure compliance, safety, and conformance to procedures as specified by Standard Operating Procedures, cGMP's, and OSHA standards
  • Assure that each forecasted plasma shipment, meets all applicable quality, storage, and production requirements and ensure that each plasma lot is delivered in a timely manner to appropriate customers.
  • Assure that each individual unit of plasma that is deemed unacceptable for further processing is individually removed, accounted for, and ultimately transported according to documented procedures.
  • Monitor plans implantation to meet quality standards and planning strategy of GEPD.
  • Review monthly planning rounds generated using planning tools & SAP system to generate the requirements
  • Develop and maintain planning SOP's in accordance with regulatory agency and company requirements. Ensure procedures accurately reflect the processes that are currently being performed.
  • Coordinate and provide oversight to all Planned movements and allocations.
  • Analyze internal and external factors that may affect the planned materials and their level of significance on Plans

  • Regular follow-up with Supply Chain on shipping status to reflect the updates (if any) into planning tools & and highlight any new risk (if any) with a mitigation action plan.
  • Partner with a wide variety of internal and external customers including manufacturing, freight carriers, quality operations, and numerous other groups on a variety of issues.
  • Work closely with Quality Operations group to evaluate incoming plasma to determine if it is acceptable, discrepant, or non-conforming.
  • Work in conjunction with departmental management in preparation of annual budgets and help to ensure budget adherence. Perform strategic demand planning to verify facilities and head count levels are appropriate and will meet the demands of the required tasks.
  • Follow up on mitigation action plan execution & and update all stakeholders on the progress during the scheduled bi-weekly planning call.
  • Any roles or responsibilities may be changed based on the business needs. Other duties as assigned.

Requirements :

  • Position requires a minimum of a Bachelor's degree in one of the sciences, business administration, engineering, or some other related field.
  • Preferred working knowledge of manufacturing processes related to raw plasma. Inventory controls, and strong knowledge of cGMP's and other regulatory requirements. Must demonstrate initiative capabilities, have excellent communication skills (both written and verbal), and possess a high level of urgency. The ability to adapt to changing priorities is essential.
  • A minimum of 3 years experience in planning of logistics, warehousing, materials inventory planning, or distribution or Manufacturing is required for this level.
  • Preferably experienced in career a business Analyst role
  • Experience in Microsoft Office applications
  • Experience in ERP systems
  • Familiar with using planning tools.
