Job objective :

The Plasma Cost Controller is responsible for tracking, analyzing, and controlling plasma procurement costs to support financial efficiency and strategic decision-making. This role ensures cost transparency, provides financial insights, and supports budgetary alignment within the Plasma Procurement department.

Environment :

This position requires close collaboration with Plasma Procurement, Finance, Operations, and Supply Chain teams, as well as external vendors and corporate finance stakeholders. The role involves handling financial data, cost models, and variance analysis while ensuring adherence to company policies and financial regulations.

Key responsibility

Cost Tracking & Analysis: Monitor plasma procurement costs, analyze trends, and provide cost-saving recommendations.

Budgeting & Forecasting: Assist in preparing annual budgets, cost projections, and financial reports.

Variance Analysis: Conduct variance analysis on actual vs. planned costs, identifying root causes and proposing corrective actions.

Financial Reporting: Generate monthly cost reports, ensuring accuracy and timely submission to management.

Process Improvement: Work with Procurement and Operations teams to enhance cost control processes and efficiency.

Data Integrity & Compliance: Ensure cost-related data accuracy in SAP and adhere to financial policies and internal controls.

Stakeholder Collaboration: Act as a liaison between Finance, Procurement, and Operations to align cost control initiatives with business objectives.

Plasma Cost Standards: Assist in setting and updating plasma cost standards in line with operational and financial strategies.

Academic experience required :

Bachelors degree in Finance, Accounting, Business Administration, or a related field.

A masters degree or professional certification (e.g., CMA, CPA) is a plus.


Professional experience required :

3-5 years of experience in cost control, financial analysis, or procurement finance, preferably in pharmaceutical, healthcare, or manufacturing industries.

Experience in plasma procurement, supply chain finance, or cost accounting is highly desirable.

Computing skills :

Strong proficiency in Microsoft Excel, SAP, MS BI and ERP systems.

Experience with financial modeling, cost analysis tools, and business intelligence systems.

High level of integrity, accuracy, and attention to detail.

Ability to work under tight deadlines and manage multiple priorities.
