Job objective
Manages the support needed for various plasma donor center systems and database changes, configurations and data requests. Supports plasma operations with their data needs for donation, test results, payment, equipment data and system configuration for various plasma center systems and databases. Provides timely support of user requests and resolution of operational issues related to selected applications or processes attributes. Manage multiple phases of a request life cycle: request, follow up, documentation, & resolution. Maintains professional customer service with both internal and external customers and relationships. Adheres to all procedures and guidelines to ensure all compliance and regulations are meet.
Key responsibility
- Manages and maintains various production system configuration and plasma operations requests to meet the quality and efficiency of GEPD.
- Implements system configuration changes for Blood Establishment Computer System (PDS, etc..) and other donor center plasma systems
- Manage and coordinate system change implementation dates, tasks and staff resources
- Works closely with IT Plasma support team and GEPD to review and approve system change configuration documentation for all phases of system change request process.
- Supports requests to resolve data incidents, functional questions and user account support in BECS and or other donor center plasma systems for areas trained/assigned. Support the development and training of staff.
- Supports Ad Hoc requests for data/queries from BECS and other donor center systems.
- Develops and or runs SQL queries or reports depending on the application and support area assigned and maintains automated reports for field and corporate distribution.
- Liaison with internal and external departments to support and/or lead changes, solutions and projects.
- Maintains and manages work requests. Manage incoming requests from various internal and external sources, tracking tools to route to appropriate corporate resources for purchasing hardware, software, and other needs.
- Maintains and manages own work requests.
- Analyze data and provide input to business decisions.
- Supports various systems-related projects and rollouts.
- Works closely with Operations to complete data or information requests.
- Needs to be flexible in schedule and be able to work periodic late nights or on-call weekends if necessary.
- Manages and participates in projects and committees as assigned. Completes additional work tasks and duties as assigned.
Professional experience required
Detailed knowledge of the central process and system configuration.
SQL / Database query expertise. Good Supervisory and Management skills. Well-written and verbal communication skills. Proficient in Microsoft Office, with strong expertise in excel, SAP-BW, Microsoft BI, and Oracle SQL
