About the job Plasma Processor (Helwan)
Job objective
The plasma processor processes both units and samples for initial freezing; packs plasma for final shipment; packs samples for shipment to testing lab; assists in shipping both samples and units; and maintains area equipment and supplies.
Environment
Internal: Donor Center Management and Medical staff.
External: donors, patient groups, auditors, and community and neighborhood organizations.
- Key Responsibility
Collects and processes donor samples for processing and testing.
Labels samples and freezes units for final packing within the required timeframe. Participates in unit management according to SOP. - Packs units for final shipment; packs samples and prepares shipping box to send samples to the testing lab.
- Monitors stored products to ensure time requirements are met. Monitors and reports working conditions of equipment.
- Maintains active communication with other service areas to ensure accurate documentation and quality.
- Completes all necessary documentation. Ensures donor confidentiality. Builds rapport with donors to ensure overall satisfaction with the center to support long-term donation.
- Learns and maintains thorough familiarity and compliance with all local competent authority regulations, Standard Operating Procedure Manual, Current Good Manufacturing Practice (cGMP) and internal company procedures.
- Maintains supplies necessary to perform job duties.

Academic experience required
Nurse or Health Technical Institute graduate or equivalent.
Professional experience required
Typically requires no related experience. However, customer service experience is preferred.
Computing skills
MS Office knowled e referred but not required.
Personal skills
Communication and customer service skills.
Organized and able to manage time effectively.
Ability to work within a highly regulated, labor-intensive, fast-paced medical environment.
Ability to understand and follow SOP's and protocols.
Languages
Written and spoken English and Arabic.
