Contract type: B2B, Limited Company or self-employed contract 

Rotation: Various rotations ranging from 2–6 weeks 

Rates: Competitive day rates based on rank and experience

The opportunity

GreenTec Workforce Solutions is seeking experienced CTV crew for long-term contract opportunities supporting offshore wind projects throughout the UK.

We are recruiting qualified Masters, Engineers, Deck Officers and ABs/Deckhands to work with a range of leading Crew Transfer Vessel operators. These opportunities offer varied rotations, competitive rates and the chance to contribute to major offshore wind developments.

Successful candidates will join professional vessel teams responsible for safely and efficiently transferring personnel, equipment and supplies between ports, offshore wind turbines and project sites.

Key responsibilities

Responsibilities will vary according to rank but may include:

  • Supporting the safe and efficient operation of Crew Transfer Vessels
  • Transporting personnel, technicians, equipment and supplies to offshore wind farms
  • Carrying out navigational, engineering, deck or watchkeeping duties appropriate to rank
  • Monitoring vessel systems, machinery, navigation equipment and deck operations
  • Assisting with vessel maintenance, housekeeping and planned maintenance activities
  • Following all maritime, environmental and project-specific HSEQ procedures
  • Accurately completing vessel logs, operational records and required documentation
  • Communicating effectively with colleagues, passengers, port personnel and offshore project teams
  • Working flexibly as part of a close-knit crew to support changing operational requirements
Essential requirements

Applicants must have:

  • Previous experience aboard a CTV, tug, workboat or similar commercial vessel
  • Relevant and valid STCW certification for the position applied for
  • A valid Certificate of Competency where required for the relevant rank
  • A valid ENG1 medical certificate or accepted equivalent
  • A valid Seaman's Book
  • A valid passport
  • The legal right to work in the EU
  • Good communication and teamwork skills
  • A flexible, safety-focused and professional approach

Additional client, vessel or flag-state certification requirements may apply depending on the assignment.
