Senior Ecologist

We have a great opportunity for a Senior Ecologist to join a fantastic independent consultancy in Stockport. 

You'll be joining a supportive and forward-thinking practice that invests heavily in its team members, offers a positive environment and engaging, diverse workload.

You'll be undertaking a wide range of ecological surveys (including UK Habs, NVC, BBS, GCN, and bat surveys), as well as managing projects or varying size and costing and tendering for work. You'll gain exposure to a wide variety of projects and sectors, and get to develop your skills in all aspects of consultancy.

Salary & Benefits:

• Salary in region of £34,000 - £42,000
• 33 days annual leave (including bank holidays)
• Up to 3 paid volunteer days per year

About you:

To apply for this role you will need:

• Minimum of 4+ years (post-qualifying) experience in a UK Ecology consultancy
• Broad experience of ecological surveys, PEAs, and BNG assessments
• At least one protected species licence (or working towards) and/or FISC / BSBI qualification
• Full UK driving licence
• Eligibility to live and work in the UK
