About the job Assembly Planner
Job Description
1. Validate the production plan and launch production work orders on a weekly basis.
2. Align production targets with customer's needs in collaboration with the production team.
3. Validate the available hours on the short/long term horizon with the Planning Manager.
4. Utilize various tools, i.e. order management system, production planning software, optimization model and data
repositories to make production decisions.
5. Ensure material availability before launching work orders with the collaboration of the purchasing team.
6. Reschedule work in progress (WIP) to manage unexpected events.
7. Participate in applicable daily production meetings and communicate priorities.
8. Follow-up daily, by assembly line, of the work in progress already released to the floor and prioritize.
9. Launch production kits according to the production line requirements daily basis.
10. Lead and/or participate in applicable project kick off meetings.
11. Participate in continuous improvement initiatives and other duties as assigned or dictated by business needs.
12. Other duties and assignments as instructed by superiors from time to time.
13. To comply to all requirements of ISO (inclusive of all standards approved by the Management) and to adhere to general
safety practices, standard operating procedure, work instructions, policies and guidelines provided by the company.
Requirements
- Bachelor's Degree in Supply Chain, Engineering or Business Bachelor's degree in Engineering,
Manufacturing, Supply Chain, or equivalent years of related experience. - Preferably 0 - 2 years of working experience in program/project management or related field is
required for this position. Knowledges in Automation Assembly Planning field an added advantage. - Proven people skills required, must have ability to work cross-functionally while effectively
handling internal pressure. - Excellent organizational skills and attention to details.
- Ability to multi-task and work independently as well as in a team.
- Proficient in MS Office applications (Excel, Words and Powerpoint).
- Advanced proficiency in Excel with an excellent understanding of ERP/ MRP systems.
