Position Overview

• Job Title: Speech-Language Pathologist (SLP)

• Location: Waverly, NY (Southern Tier region)

• Salary Range: $91,520 $114,400, based on experience

Key Responsibilities

• Conduct evaluations and develop individualized treatment plans

• Deliver therapy services for speech, language, voice, and swallowing disorders

• Collaborate with physicians, caregivers, and interdisciplinary rehab team

• Maintain accurate documentation for evaluations, progress, and discharge

• Participate in care planning and communicate with residents families

• Conduct audiometric screenings and provide appropriate referrals

• Educate and support facility staff through in-services and training sessions

• Ensure compliance with clinical and safety standards

Qualifications

• Masters Degree (M.A. or M.S.) in Speech-Language Pathology from an accredited program

• Valid New York State license to practice (or eligibility to obtain)

• ASHA CCC-SLP preferred; CFY candidates welcome

• Strong interpersonal skills and a collaborative mindset

• Passion for delivering high-quality, resident-focused therapy
