Position Overview

Join a leading healthcare facility in the scenic Finger Lakes region as a Senior Biomedical Equipment Technician. Essential Responsibilities

• Perform complex diagnostics, repairs, and calibrations on medical devices and systems
• Lead preventive maintenance programs and equipment installation projects
• Provide technical mentorship to junior BMETs
• Conduct equipment safety inspections and compliance testing
• Maintain detailed service documentation and equipment histories
• Collaborate with vendors and clinical staff on equipment solutions
• Participate in equipment evaluation and procurement processes
• Deliver in-service training to clinical staff on equipment operation

Required Qualifications

• Bachelor's in Biomedical/Electronics Engineering plus 2 years experience, OR
• Associate's in Biomedical Technology plus 4+ years experience
• Proven expertise in medical equipment repair and maintenance
• Strong understanding of medical technology systems and healthcare operations
• ICC certification preferred
• Excellent problem-solving and communication skills
• Physical ability to lift and handle medical equipment
