THE OPPORTUNITY

An innovative technology company in Butte, MT is seeking a Senior Chemical Engineer to lead development of advanced acoustic mixing technology and equipment. You'll drive R&D across batch, continuous-batch, and continuous mixing processes — with a path toward commercializing novel applications in chemical reactions, crystallization, and mechanochemical processing. Located two hours from Yellowstone and Big Sky, with relocation assistance available.

YOUR DAY-TO-DAY

Lead development of acoustic mixing technology including evaluation of mixing, mass transport, heat transfer, scaling, process control, and process optimization

Design and execute R&D work across batch, continuous-batch, and continuous mixing systems

Drive commercialization of new technologies for continuous chemical reactions, crystallization, and mechanochemical processes

Some international travel required

WHAT WE'RE LOOKING FOR

BS in Chemical Engineering from an ABET-accredited program (MS or PhD adds value)

U.S. citizenship required

Minimum 5 years of relevant experience

Experience with solid-solid, liquid-solid, and liquid-liquid mixing processes

Working knowledge of mixing fundamentals and conventional mixing design parameters

Relocation assistance available
