Senior Nuclear Medicine Technologist - PET/CT Specialist
Join a leading outpatient imaging center in Syracuse, NY, as a Nuclear Medicine Technologist specializing in PET/CT and SPECT/CT imaging. This role offers an exceptional career growth opportunity with paid CT certification training and a competitive compensation package ranging from $90,000 to $110,240 annually.
Position Overview
As a valued member of our Specialty Services Center, you'll work in a modern outpatient setting with state-of-the-art hybrid imaging equipment. Enjoy a balanced lifestyle with no weekends or on-call duties, working a rotating schedule between 6 AM and 5 PM, Monday through Friday.
Key Responsibilities
- Perform diagnostic procedures using PET/CT and SPECT/CT hybrid imaging systems
- Calculate, prepare, and administer radioactive isotopes according to established protocols
- Ensure patient safety and comfort while providing clear examination instructions
- Maintain accurate patient records and verify physician orders
- Conduct daily quality control procedures and maintain equipment standards
- Participate in continuing education to stay current with industry developments
Required Qualifications
- CNMT or ARRT(N) certification
- Valid NYS DOH Nuclear Medicine License
- Current CPR certification
- Strong patient care and communication skills
Preferred Qualifications
- NMTCB(CT) or ARRT(CT) certification
- Previous PET/CT experience (though not required - will train)
