Senior Nuclear Medicine Technologist - PET/CT Specialist

Join a leading outpatient imaging center in Syracuse, NY, as a Nuclear Medicine Technologist specializing in PET/CT and SPECT/CT imaging. Position Overview

As a valued member of our Specialty Services Center, you'll work in a modern outpatient setting with state-of-the-art hybrid imaging equipment. Enjoy a balanced lifestyle with no weekends or on-call duties, working a rotating schedule between 6 AM and 5 PM, Monday through Friday.

Key Responsibilities

• Perform diagnostic procedures using PET/CT and SPECT/CT hybrid imaging systems
• Calculate, prepare, and administer radioactive isotopes according to established protocols
• Ensure patient safety and comfort while providing clear examination instructions
• Maintain accurate patient records and verify physician orders
• Conduct daily quality control procedures and maintain equipment standards
• Participate in continuing education to stay current with industry developments

Required Qualifications

• CNMT or ARRT(N) certification
• Valid NYS DOH Nuclear Medicine License
• Current CPR certification
• Strong patient care and communication skills

Preferred Qualifications

• NMTCB(CT) or ARRT(CT) certification
• Previous PET/CT experience (though not required - will train)
