Position Overview

As the Clinical Care Coordinator, you'll lead a specialized unit handling critical care cases including cardiac monitoring, stroke care, and complex medical interventions. Our PCU specializes in managing patients requiring intermediate and telemetry care, with sophisticated monitoring and treatment protocols.

Key Responsibilities

• Coordinate comprehensive patient care plans and lead multidisciplinary team collaboration
• Oversee clinical operations for a 25-bed Progressive Care/Telemetry Unit
• Manage complex cases including cardiac monitoring, stroke care, and critical drip administration
• Provide clinical leadership and mentorship to nursing staff
• Ensure compliance with healthcare quality metrics and patient safety standards
• Facilitate efficient patient flow through admission and discharge processes
• Participate in quality improvement initiatives and staff development programs

Required Qualifications

• Current RN license with BSN required
• Minimum 3 years Progressive Care or Telemetry nursing experience
• Proven Charge Nurse experience
• Current BCLS certification (or obtained within 30 days)
• ACLS certification (or obtained within 30 days)
• NIHSS Stroke Certification (or obtained within 30 days)
• Strong clinical assessment and leadership skills
