Position Overview

As the L&D Unit Manager, you will oversee daily operations, ensure clinical excellence, and foster a patient-centered environment that delivers superior maternal and infant care outcomes. Key Responsibilities

• Lead and mentor a team of nursing professionals in the Labor & Delivery unit
• Drive clinical excellence through evidence-based practices and quality improvement initiatives
• Manage unit operations, including staffing, scheduling, and resource allocation
• Ensure compliance with regulatory standards and hospital policies
• Optimize patient flow and care coordination across departments
• Monitor and improve patient satisfaction and experience metrics
• Oversee equipment maintenance and inventory management
• Develop and implement strategies to enhance patient care outcomes
• Foster interdisciplinary collaboration and communication

Required Qualifications

• Bachelor's Degree in Nursing (BSN) required; Master's Degree (MSN) preferred
• Current RN license in state of practice or active compact license
• 3-5 years of progressive clinical experience in healthcare
• Minimum 1 year supervisory experience in Labor & Delivery
• Specialty certification required within 6 months of hire
• Strong leadership and communication skills
• Experience with quality improvement initiatives
